Princeton Engagement Session | Grace and Stanley
Princeton Engagement Photos | Grace and Stanley
Happy New Year, my friends! With the holidays all wrapped up, I just have to share with you my last photo session of 2020. I met Grace earlier this year and was so thrilled when she booked her engagement session with me. She had a particular vision, and I wanted to make sure we made it come true!
Grace and Stanley love the magic of the holiday season. After a bit of digging, we decided that Palmer Square in Princeton was the best choice in Central New Jersey. Every year, Palmer Square turns into a winter wonderland to get in the holiday spirit. It was the perfect place!
I was so surprised to see the streets empty when we started the session. When it comes to visiting Princeton, it was clear- the early bird gets the worm! We started our session with the decorated doorways along Palmer Square.
Grace and Stanley arrived elegantly dressed! They complimented the environment perfectly. Even though it was chilly (like 30 degrees chilly!), they embraced it. After a while, we were moving so much we almost forgot it was even cold out. Shout out to Grace’s mom for bringing me Hotties! It was so thoughtful! I stuffed them in my gloves and warmed them right up!
Grace and Stanley have a PRECIOUS puppy, Tally. He was very excited to be part of the session. After a little bit of shooting with his parents, he joined in on the fun!
Before any shoot, I do a lot of research on the location and have a lot of shot ideas in mind. One of my ideas this time was to have Grace and Stanley cross the street. I asked Grace and Stanley’s mothers to keep an eye on the traffic while I set up and executed the shot. The street was one-way, the traffic was low, and we made sure the coast was crystal clear! The shots were 100% worth it.
Grace and Stanley had an outfit change. They chose cozy casual outfits and we made our way to the Princeton University Campus. On our way over, I stopped them in a little ivy-covered alleyway for a couple of shots.
We finished the session by Nassau Hall. I had some fun with a couple of shots, and asked Stanley to give Grace a quick piggyback ride!
I had so much fun with Grace, Stanley, and the whole family. It was wonderful celebrating something so special and exciting. We all need a little bit of that every once in a while.
Congratulations Grace and Stanley (and Tally!). I am so excited for you and what the future holds for you. I wish you a life full of love, strength, and blessings.
I hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year. Get ready to celebrate your special moments too. You deserve to have them commemorated!
