Colonial Park Family Portraits | Somerset NJ
Autumn has arrived! I’ve been having a fantastic time meeting families for portraits for the season.
The colors on the trees have begun to change a little, with hidden sprinkles of color here and there.
The Laskoskie Family was first up in my calendar for fall-themed family portraits.
We met in Colonial Park in Somerset NJ for the occasion and captured special moments with the newest additions to their family.
I always recommend choosing 2-3 colors for everyone’s outfits. They did such a wonderful job coordinating their final looks. The orange, brown, and cream colors stand out against the deep greens. Plus, the twin’s matching outfits were precious!
Besides capturing posed photos of the whole family, I like to play “mix and match” to get a variety of candid images.
I had mom and dad switch babies back and forth throughout the entire shoot. This way, they both got their own special captures which each one!
We finished our session by the D & R Canal. I had the family sit on the little dock by the edge of the river. Then, we walked over a bridge to the trail for our final moments together.
I had so much fun capturing these special moments for the Laskoskie Family.
It always means so much to me when my clients choose me to spend time with them. it is such a treat!
It’s not too late to book family portraits this fall! The colors have yet to peak.
