The fall season is such a wonderful time for family portraits! The colors are beautiful and the weather is just right.
I had the privilege of photographing this beautiful family this year!
All of my clients get a custom location guide based on their preferences and vision for their family pictures.
After sending a few options, this family chose to meet at the East Jersey Olde Town Village
I was so thrilled because I had not had the pleasure of photographing a client there!
This location is a hidden gem within Johnson Park in Piscataway.
Ease Jersey Old Towne Village is a historical village with “18th and 19th-century structures that represent architecture typical of farm and merchant communities once found in the Raritan Valley.”
The weather on this day was very temperamental! It kept raining on and off, and clouds kept rolling through.
However, even with a tiny drizzle at the beginning, we were able to shoot with a hazy sunset. I was very thankful that the family was so open-minded to the weather because the results are beautiful!
This goes to show that one does not need a perfectly sunny day for special captures!
The family coordinated perfectly with various shades of cream, tan, and browns. We walked around the village capturing a variety of group portraits and different combinations of all the family members.
I had such a great time with the family and getting to know them. We had the entire location to ourselves which gave us the opportunity to relax and get creative!
